Raon Secure, an IT security certification company, announced on the 23rd that a total of 400 people, including executives and employees of affiliates, gathered at Everland in Yongin to celebrate the 10th anniversary of its foundation.
At the ceremony, Raon Secure selected a total of 38 long-term workers and delivered special vacations for recharging, pure gold coins worth 3 million won, and NFT (non-replaceable tokens). In addition, Styler, Standing TV, iPad, Air Purifier, and PlayStation were provided as products through lottery and mission events.
Raon Secure’s predecessor is Terraum, which was established in 1998 and listed on KOSDAQ in 2001. Terraum merged with security companies such as Lumensoft in 2012 and was reborn as RaonSecure.
Its main business is security certification. It was the first Asian information security company to be appointed as a member of the board of directors of the FIDO (Fast Identity Online) Alliance of the International Biometric Standards Association, and earlier this year, it collaborated with LG CNS to introduce a “mobile driver’s license.” It also operates the largest white hacker group in Korea through its blockchain-based distributed ID platform “Omni One” and its subsidiary Raon White Hat.
Lee Soon-hyung, CEO of RaonSecure, said, “I would like to thank executives and employees who have been trying to build a stable portfolio in the mobile security solution sector for the past 10 years and strengthen their business base.”
