Helper Robotics, a startup that makes serving robot solutions with AGV technology that moves dedicated tracks, announced on the 16th that it has attracted seed investment from Accelerator CNT Tech.

Helper Robotics’ serving robot ‘SB‘ is an AGV technology-based robot that moves only on dedicated tracks set up in stores. It is safe because it does not interfere with the movement of consumers using the store, and it can operate up to 30 units at the same time, thereby increasing the turnover rate. In particular, it is characterized by a quarter of the price compared to existing serving robots. In addition to the physical delivery function, it also provides functions such as ordering, selling, and payment.

“As unmanned stores accelerate to reduce costs and the popularity of non-face-to-face services continues, ‘unmanned stores’ or ‘one-person stores’ models are already being mass-produced in various fields,” said Phon Seong, CEO of CNT Tech, who invested.

Earlier, Helper Robotics received childcare from CNT Tech while participating in the “2022 Agricultural Food Technology Start-up Accelerator Support” project hosted by the Korea Agricultural Technology Agency. In July, it was also selected as a technology development support project “TIPS” organized by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups with the recommendation of CNT Tech.

Choi Jae-won, CEO of Helper Robotics, said, “In addition to this investment, TIPS has been selected to speed up the commercialization of products. We will continue to upgrade our product lines and functions to expand our business base by incorporating our robots into various fields.”
